Kevorken Receives WCC All-Academic Honors

Junior Nicky Kevorken has been selected to the inaugural West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball All-Academic Team as an honorable mention, the conference announced Wednesday morning. The Westlake Village native and 2014 transfer from the University of Oregon owns a 3.29 GPA as a Psychology major.

Women's Soccer Signs Two More for 2016

In continued preparation for the fall 2016 campaign, LMU women's soccer Head Coach Michelle Myers has announced the addition of Brittan Walley and Pilar Torres to the Lions' most recent signing class. The duo join eight others who will make their debut in a Lion kit in the coming months.

A pair of trips to the NCAA Sweet 16 was the highlight of the 2016 Lions Athletic Fund Iggy Awards on Wednesday, April 28th at the DoubleTree LA Westside. Women's volleyball and women's soccer, who had historic runs in the their respective NCAA tournaments, were part of the many honors recognized at the 11th Annual Iggy Awards.

Busfield Tosses 8.0 Shutout, Lions Blank Broncos to Win Series

Junior J.D. Busfield dealt 8.0 shutout innings, allowing just five hits and one walk with five strikeouts, to guide LMU (24-21, 12-9 WCC) to a 5-0 shutout victory at Santa Clara (19-22, 6-12 WCC). The shutout, LMU's fourth of the year, handed LMU a 2-1 series victory over the Broncos.

Lions Win Gold in Pair of 4+ Races

LMU men's rowing earned gold medals in both the Novice 4+ and Varsity 4+ races while competing at the 2016 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships from the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River, Calif. over the weekend.

Defense Can't Overcome Offensive Woes

Defense continued to shine for 22nd-ranked LMU women's water polo. But so did their offensive struggles, as they fell in a physical battle to 23rd-ranked California Baptist in the third place game at the 2016 Golden Coast Conference Championships Sunday afternoon.
