Women's volleyball and women's soccer, who had historic runs in the their respective NCAA tournaments, were part of the many honors recognized at the 11th Annual Iggy Awards.

Hawaii Transfer Joins Lions

Stefan Jovanovic, a product of Bishop Montgomery High School who spent the last three seasons playing for the University of Hawaii, will transfer to LMU and play for the men’s basketball program, announced Head Coach Mike Dunlap on Tuesday.

LMU men’s basketball defensively threw everything they had at top-seed Saint Mary’s in the quarterfinals of the 2016 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships. In the end, the Lions could keep pace with the Gaels, who earned a 60-48 victory to advance on Saturday night at the Orleans Arena.
