Ferrin Retiring After 21 Seasons

Following 21 seasons and 693 wins, the most by a coach in LMU Athletics history, softball Head Coach Gary Ferrin will retire from the University effective May 31, 2015.

Eight LMU softball players were honored on the 2015 West Coast Conference Softball teams, the league office announced Thursday. This marks the most all-conference selections for LMU since 2011 when nine players earned recognition on the All-Pacific Coast Softball Conference teams.

Softball Concludes Season at Home

The 2015 season comes to a close this week for the LMU softball team as the Lions host West Coast Conference rival BYU in a three-game series at Smith Field. The two teams will face off in a doubleheader on Friday beginning at noon. The series will conclude on Saturday with a single game set to start at 3:30 p.m.
